As we work to reconnect land and community in healthy ways, the place where “once the embattled farmers stood” can again take a lead role in a quiet revolution in American farming. Battle Road Farms, an educational farm within Minute Man National Historical Park in Concord, Lincoln and Lexington, Massachusetts, combines a modern, productive agricultural enterprise with the stewardship of a treasured landscape. Our mission is to preserve the area’s rich agricultural history while offering new perspectives on how today’s farm relates to the environment, our food systems and our community.
